Description

This is a firm fixed price contract with a NAICS code of 23499. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside and only offers from small business concerns which may qualify under the size standard in this solicitation will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are not small businesses shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. This project is located in SE El Paso near the intersection of Carolina Dr. and Yarbrough Dr. It consist of the construction of an earth embankment basin, concrete spillway, two concrete inlets with both an outlet conduit and outlet works. The outlet works consist of approximately 3300 LF of reinforced concrete pipe in sizes ranging from 36 inch to 108 inch, 250 LF of CBCs. The inlets will require working in the city streets and coordinating with local utilities for construction activities. The embankment will be comprised of approximately 330,000 cy of embankment and 20,000 cy of slope protection along with pavement removal and replacement. The outlet works consist of a 36 inch conduit and intake tower. The approximate construction period is 450 days. Questions of a technical nature should be addressed to Gary Lopez at (505) 342-3325.
