Description

Furnishing, delivering and unloading of stone materials (Type A, 6-15 tons; Type B, 2-5 tons and Type C, 1-100 lbs.) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Calumet Stone Dock, adjacent to USX Property, 86th and South Shore, Chicago, Illinois. Stone materials are quartzite and granite only. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price. The bids shall be submitted as a whole package with award to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 212313 and the SIC Code is 1411. There will be no charge for this solicitation package and each request will be limited to one package only. Telephone and/or fax requests WILL NOT be honored. Solicitation to be issued on or about 2 March 2001 and the Bid due date is 3 April 2001 at 3:00 p.m. "See Note 1". This project is available by downloading from the Internet only. Project specification files are portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using source view reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package.
