Description

Contractor shall furnish all tools, fuels, lubticants, materials, equipement, labor, and supervision necessary to perform Ground Maintenance and Grave Excavation for the Alton National Cemetery and North Alton Confederate Cemetery, Alton, Illinois (Administered by the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, st. Louis, MO. for the period May 1, 2001 through April 30, 2002 with four (4) one year options to renew. Duties include Interment Services, Lawn Maintenance (Fertilizing, Aerating, Dethatching, Liming and Over Seeding) and Mowing, Trimming and Edging, Trash and Debris Removal all in accordance with contract specifications. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561730 shall apply. Requests for solicitation must be in writing to Contracting Officer on company letterhead. No telephone requests will be accepted. You can fax your request to 913-758-6495. Solicitation will be issed on or about February 22, 2001 and bid opening will be on or about March 20, 2001 at 3:00 PM local time. A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2001, at 10:00 AM local time at the Jefferson Barracks national Cemetery, Administrative Building, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Mo 63125. It is strongly recommeded that propestive bidders attend the pre bid conference.
