Description

The National Cancer Institute intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with The MEDSTAT Group/Inforum, Inc, 801 Crescent Centre Drive, Suite 400, Franklin, TN 37067, for a modification to increase the Institute's access to Inforum's geodemographic marketing database, as well as provide additional tailored training for NCI staff for the use of the Inforum database and technical support in the preparation of summary reports detailing the lifestyle groups most in need of cancer education and outreach and their associated demographic and marketing characteristics as outlined in the Inforum database currently licensed by NCI. The provided services are proprietary and commercial as defined in FAR Part 2. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy agency Requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 20 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
