Description
Furnish and install one (1) Busch, Inc., Model DVET-3-RC0250, Central Vacuum System, or equal, to include a triplex central vacuum system with vacuum pumps stacked vertically, a control panel, and a 200 gallon tank mounted on a common platform. The system shall have inlet and outlet manifolds with isolation valves and a suction check valve and filter for each pump. Connections to the house systems are to be 2 inch pipe connections. Pumps are to be direct-driven, continuous-duty rated, rotary vane, oil sealed and air cooled with a capacity of 150 cubic feet per minute plus or minus 10 cfm each pump. The fluid pumped is air. A single pump must be able to achieve a vacuum of 26" Hg at the designated flow. The vanes must be asbestos free. A NEMA 12 type control cabinet will be supplied and mounted to the frame. Controls will be of sufficient sophistication to run the pumps individually, lead/lag and combination, lead/lag 1/lag 2 any combination and manual any combination and UL listed (Category NITW File E-113767). Each pump shall have run lights and runtime meters. Service shall be 480 volts, 3 phase, with two feeds. Control power should be designed to use either feed,switching automatically from normal to alternate upon loss of feeder. An electrical disconnect for each pump and thermal, magnetic and short circuit protection for each motor as part of the starters. Vacuum instrumentation shall be provided and shall be visible and readable from the front opf the control panel. The foot print part of the assembly must be 51" X 60" X 89" High,or smaller. This solicitation is being issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)code 339111 applies.
