Description

The planned procurement is for a new five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract with delivery orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price basis. There will be a delivery order for each repair. This acquisition is for repair and overhaul of Video Tape Recorders, National Stock Number 5836-01-430-8724, which are used in the OH-58D Helicopter. The initial delivery order will be for O & R of twenty video tape recorders. The total estimated maximum quantity of Video Tape Recorders to be repaired over the life of the contract is six hundred twenty-five units. This proposed procurement is a Sole Source Acquisition from Precision Echo, 3105 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, California, 95054. The Justification and Approval authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C.2304 ( c ) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 (a) (1), only One Responsible Source.
