Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Commercial Acquisition sole source contract to Bombardier Services American Corporation located in Bridegport, WV to provide for engineering and technical support services for one NU-1B and two U-6A aircraft located at the United States Naval Test Pilot School, NAS Patuxent River, MD. The aircraft are currently maintained in accordance with commercial/FAA maintenance procedures and practices. The anticipated support services required include, but are not limited to, providing new or overhauled aircraft components, engineering support, aircraft inspections, technical writing, maintenance training, and serving as a technical liaison. Bombardier is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and is the only source possessing the technical capability, technical data, and requisite knowledge of the NU-1B and the U-6A.
