Description

Provide all necessary Architect/Engineering services for the Upgrade of the existing data center in Bldg. No. 14 located at New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn Campus, Brooklyn, NY. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following work items: (1) Develop construction documents (drawings and specifications) for the upgrade of the existing data support center. (A) Adminstrative spaces, HVAC and electrical modifications as require, Architectural finishes, etc. (B) Upgrade existing computer room environment such has: addition of a package dedicated air condition unit to serve as a back up and/or supplement to the existing A/C unit. (C) Installation of a new emergency diesel power generator. Evaluate and determine if the exisiting UPS unit and power conditioning center needs to be modified or replaced. (E) The design shall accommodate the on-going changes of computers in the computer center. (2) All designs shall be in compliance with VA design criteria, NFPA 101, NEC, etc. Design completion time is sixty (60) calendar days afer issuing Notice to Proceed. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541310. SF 254'S andD 255'S are due in this office by COB 3/14/01. This is not a request for proposal.
