Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), VA Acquisition Circular 97-8. The VA North Texas Healthcare System, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas 75216 anticipates a sole source award of a firm fixed price contract to BD Biosciences, 2350 Qume Drive, San Jose, California 95131 for 1. Refurbished Facscalibur 4C with sort sensor unit, stk # 343023, 1 each 2. Refurbished G4 Facstation for Calibur, stk# 341788, 1 each 3. Upgrade printer to color printer, 1 each 4. Upgrade to 18 inch flat panel display, 1 each 5.Refurbished Facsloader Facscalibur, stk# 343167, 1 each 6. One (1) year warranty to be furnished at no charge to the VA 7. Installation and training are to be provided with equipment. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced responsible offer received that is in the best interest of the Government. Offerors must submit a completed FAR clause 52.212-3 (Representations and Certifications). FAR clauses and provisions incorporated herein by reference are FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212.5 and addenda, 52.233-2, 52.233-2, 52.233-3, 852.211-70, 852.211-71, 852.233-70 and 852.270-4.
