This is a SOLE SOURCE. The required wafer are produced using a proprietary process. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.3.3(a) This notice is for information purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-21. DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334413 and 500, respectively.
