- Description
- Construction Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, Nashville, TN is soliciting proposals for multiple award, multiple-year maintenance, repair and construction service contracts. Four awards will be made. Task orders will be issued to Task Order Contract (TOC) contractors based on the low competitive price or a combination of price and other factors (best value judgments) in accordance with FAR 16.505. Task orders may be issued for a period one (1) calendar year from date of contract award, with option to extend contracts for four (4) additional years. Task orders shall not exceed a cumulative amount of $3 million per year to any one contractor; and an individual task order shall not exceed $1 million. Source selection procedures in accordance with DFAR Part 215.605 shall be utilized for the basic TOC. Significant evaluation criteria for the basic contract in descending order of importance are: (1) Project Management Ability with an emphasis on Key Management Staff, Quality Control Plan, Financial Capability with ability to obtain bonds to $3 million per contract period and Technical Support Staff; (2)Company Experience; (3) Location in relation to the work-site and (4) price using a sample project. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the Request for Proposal by written request or fax, reference RFP No. DACW62-01-R-0004. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available for distribution on or about 1 March 2001. No telephone requests will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. This procurement is set-a-side for 8(a) firms in the Tennessee and Kentucky region.
