Description

The U.S. Geological Survey requests quotations for a TRAILER-MOUNTED, PORTABLE, MUD FILTRATION PLANT: Product to contain features which meet the following minmum specifications:(1ea.) Pick-up pump with 500gpm capacity; hydraulic flow control; winch; swing-arm mounted.(1ea.) Water Tank with 1000gal capacity; two compartments; 4 inch drain valves with caps on each tank. (1ea.) Dual Shaker:dimensions of 4 foot by 5 foot: hydraulic with 300gal capacity.(4ea.) Desilters: with five inch hydracyclones each with 80gpm capacity. (1ea.) Centrifugal Pump: 3 inch X 4 inch X 13inch. (1ea.) Fuel Tank: 20gal capacity. (1ea.) Hydraulic Tank:20gal capacity. Mud Mixer: 2 inch jet hopper type (feed from centrifugal).(1ea.) Diesel Engine: power source 48hp,non-electronic. All associated plumbing and piping. Mounted on (1ea.) TRAILER: frame constructed of rectangular steel tubing; legal width and length for general highway transport. Single Axle: with 12,000 pound capacity or Dual Axles: with 6,000 pound capacity each. Air brakes and heavy duty tires.Equipped with towing lights, complete wiring, heavy duty Pental hook and (4 ea.) leveling jacks. Trailer capable of towed highway travel at 65mph. Painted a Pantone 348 (green). The NAICS is 333132 with corresponding size standard of 500 employees. Quoters should indicate business size relative to the NAICS Code. FOB Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Delivery by May 1,2001. The Government contemplates a firm fixed-price contract and may award without discussion. Award for this COMMERCIAL ITEM will be made based on overall value to the Government. Quotations will be evaluated on the following criteria in descending order of importance:(i) technical capability of the item to meet the Gevernment requirement; (ii)past performance; (iii) price. Technical and past performance, when combined are more important than price. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
