Description

This project is to provide road maintenance services including grading, shaping, standard and vibratory rolling of road travelways and removal of minor sloughing from ditchlines for roads located on the Craig and Thorne Bay Ranger Districts, Tongass National Forest, Southeast Alaska. No scarifying or ripping is required. The various roads are to be bladed several times during the year. The blading times vary from road to road. The effective period of the contract will be for one year from the date of award with an option for an additional year of services. Prince of Wales Island can only be reached by the Alaska Marine Highway (ferry) from Ketchikan, Alaska, boat, or floatplane. This project is totally set-aside for small business concerns.
