SOLICITATION NUMBER F22600-00-R0152 LAUNDRY SERVICES FOR KEESLER AFB MS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Question -- We are unable to locate the turnaround time for laundry. Is it 24 hours, 48 hours or something different? Answer -- The contractor is required to return all linen to the point of pickup within 48 hours. Amendment 0001 incorporated turn-around time to the Statement of Work (SOW). 2. Question -- What is the annual volume to be picked up by individual location on page 5 of 13 in the PWS? Answer -- This information is not available due to the fluctuations of occupancy. 3. Question -- What are the average weights and dimensions of each item listed in Section B? Answer -- The items listed in Section B used by Keesler AFB are standard and equivalent to those used throughout the Hospitality and Hotel Industry. 4. Question -- Will a base telephone be provided in the contractor office in the Linen Exchange? If so, will it be an outside line or a Class C line? Answer -- The telephone will provide outside line (local) capabilities only. 5. Question -- Are the quantities for the Third and Fourth Option Periods correct, or should they be half of what they are since these are six-month options? Answer -- The quantities listed in the Third and Fourth Option Periods have been corrected in Amendment 0001 to reflect half of the quantities originally listed.
