Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-00-G-0288 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for change kits, technical data, and new and/or revised engineering drawings and associated data in support of approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for the VH-3D main gearbox. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the original aircraft designer for the VH-3D and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to perform this effort in a timely and cost effective manner. White House security requirements dictate that Sikorsky is the only available source.
