Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The Government intends to make award to Physitron, Inc., 3304A Westmill Drive, Huntsville, AL, 35805. Physitron, Inc. is the only known contractor that has the expertise to fill this requirement. This is synopsized for the potential to subcontract with Physitron, Inc. CLIN 0001 will be issued for one lot containing LabView 6i Graphical Remote Interface Program for the Racal Storehorse Recorder; LabView 61 Graphical Remote Interface Program for the JVC SR-S365U VCR; Programming documentation and operators manual; LabView 6i Instrument Driver ported from the Vektrex Storehorse 5.1 driver; all corresponding LabView Code Base; engineering and clerical support. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition.
