Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA), on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), is seeking sources of well-qualified companies to perform studies and analyses of foreign intelligence organizations and their aims and intentions with respect to the Department of Defense and the Military Departments. Initial work will cover three specifically designated intelligence services, with a possibility of further such studies at a later date Respondents are highly encouraged to submit not later than 15 Mar 2001 a capability statement that describes and clearly demonstrates capabilities of analyses of foreign intelligence organizations. Companies/organizations are advised that this sources sought is not to be considered a solicitation for proposals but a means of determining the extent of market activity and capability to support of the Agency's program goals. Based on the information received in response to this sources sought, the Agency will make a determination on the specific acquisition approach which could result in the release of a formal request for proposals. Respondents should keep in mind that any future request for proposal will require an established SCI facility (SCIF), an SCI-approved computer capability, as well as SCI-cleared personnel available to work on future contract efforts.
