Description

The Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), intends to conduct a competitive program Solicitation and award financial assistance (grants) to small U.S. independent oil producing operators for research and development, advocating solutions for production problems experienced by small indpependent oil porducing operators. The DOE os interested in innovative field technoligies which increase production, reduce operating costs, increase environmental compoiance, or combinations thereof. The DOE office will receive applications over three closing dates: 02 April 2001, 15 August 2001, and 24 December 2001. The Program Solicitation is expected to be released on or about 15 February 2001 and will be released on DOE's NETL homepage at http://www.netl.doe.gov/business/solicit.
