Description

i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number MDA220-01-T-0003 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. (iv) This solicitation is a small business set-aside. (v) Provide a price quote for the following: 200 each TAPE TRANSPORT CONTAINERS FOR "3480" MAGNETIC MEDIA TAPES. (vi) Engineered Data Products model #3492-01. (vii) Containers are to be shipped to: Mechanicsburg Customer Service, Attention: Lola Knizer, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Bldg. 308, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0975 within 30 days of award. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Quotes in response to this notice may be submitted in writing, via facsimile, or electronically. The facsimile number is 216-522-6352. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, applies to this acquisition. Quotes must be submitted by 4:00 EST, February 23,2001. Failure to provide any of the documents requested in this notice may render your quote unacceptable and ineligible for an award.
