Description

This acquisition is being solicited as Full and Open compeition. It will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract over a five (5) year period term, with a minimum quantity of one (1) each First Production Quantity (FPQ), twenty-nine (29) each Production Quantity (PQ) and thirty (30) each (Indefinite Quantity) (IDQ) subject to the Delivery Order Limitations clause FAR 52.216-19, Flow Computer System, Army Drawing Number 13589301. Required delivery of the 1 each FPQ with 1 each COTS manual shall be 120 days after contract award. The Government shall have 60 days to determine compliance of the hardware and manual. Upon satisfactory completion of the first production unit test and COTS evaluation, the contractor shall be authorized to begin production. Delivery of the PQ shall begin 120 days after notification of satisfactory completion of the first production unit test and COTS evaluation, at a rate of ten (10) each per month until delivery is complete. Inspection and acceptance point shall be destination for the FPQ and origin for the PQ and IDQ. This acquisition will be issued under FAR Part 12 -- Commercial Items. The anticipated release date of this solicitation is 15 March 2001. It is anticipated that closing will be thirty (30) days thereafter. It will issued directly to the World Wide Web (WWW), i.e. there will be no hard copies mailed.
