- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, ass supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/RFQ number 07-08-01 applies. It is anticipated the requirement will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for a fixed price contract to furnish and deliver nine Suzuki King Quad LT-F300F All Terrain Vehicles with CV Joint Guard and rack extension as manufactured by American Suzuki Motor Corporation, PO Box 1100, Brea, California 92822, (800) 934-0934 or equal to the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests located at 3213 Cove Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia 24017. The Forest Service will require a trade-in allowance on replaced units, value to be determined after inspection by Dealer. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions To Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Under this provision the statement in the second sentence of paragraph (a) is to read "Item 17 of the CBD combined synopsis/solicitation" rather than "Block 10 of the solicitation cover sheet (FS 1449)". The government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government considering price and price related factors. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies with paragraph (a) completed as follows: Award will be made to the offeror that meets the solicitation's criteria for technical acceptability, price and past performance.
