SYNOPSIS: Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: DAAH23-01-R-0350; PRON: AX1C0030AX; NSN: 1615-01-198-7553; Quantity: 80 each (Min)/480 each (Max), First Year: 80 each, Second Year: 100 each, Third Year: 100 each, Fourth Year: 100 each, Fifth Year: 100 each; Part Number: 114R2050-36; Restricted to Boeing Helicopter Division, and Fenn Manufacturing Company; Noun: Hub, Rotary Wing Head; NAICS Code: 336413; Closing Date: 2001 March 27; Applicable to the CH-47 Aircraft. The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Deliveries are FOB destination to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing (FAT) is 20 each 350 days after contract award (DACA), and 20 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. First Article Test Report (FATR) is due 268 DACA. Required delivery without FAT is 20 each 280 DACA, and 20 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by submitting a source approval request (SAR) package to AMCOM, AMSAM-AR-EI-FS/James Procyk, (256) 313-4907, Building 5681, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000.
