Fire Alarm Replacement -- IRS Service Center, SOL. GS-07P-01-UGC-5013, DUE March 29, 2001, Point of Contact(POC) -- Elizabeth Taylor, 817/978-2779, NAICS Code 235310 (formally SIC Code: 1731). Provide all materials & labor to replace a single fire alarm system that will cover the entire facility (approximately 480,000 sq. ft.) The system shall be an intelligent, analog, addressable, fire alarm system and include new conduit and wiring. The existing system shall be kept in service until new system is in operation. The IRS SW Service Center is located at 3651 South I-35, Austin, TX 78741, Project No. ATX20006, Bldg. No. TX2038ZZ. The building is occupied and shall remain occupied during entire period of construction. Period of performance is 180 calendar days. Estimated cost range of project is project is $600,000 to $900,000. This contract will be acquired utilizing informal Source Selection procedures with a firm fixed-price award to offeror who provides the best value to the Government. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically. This solicitation will issue on or about February 26, 2001. The solicitation, and any documents related to this procurement, will be available via the Internet in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. This data will reside on a World-Wide Web (www) server which may be accessed using a www browser application. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov/.
