Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE: Best Value Construction Services Task Order Contract (TOC). The USPFO for Nevada and the Nevada Army & Air National Guard are issuing a solicitation for proposals on a multiple award, multiple-year maintenance, repair and construction service contract. Task Orders will be issued to the TOC contractors based on the low competitive price, or a combination of price and other factors (best value judgments) in accordance with FAR 16.505. Task Orders may be issued during an initial period of one (1) base year and up to four (4) additional option years. Individual task orders shall not exceed $2 million. Source Selection Procedures in accordance with DFAR Part 215.605 shall be utilized for the basic TOC. Significant evaluation criteria for the basic contract in descending order of important are: (1) Project Management Ability with emphasis on Key Management Staff, Quality Control Plan, Financial Capability and Technical Support Staff, (2) Past Performance: (3) Location in relation to the work-site. The solicitation document will be available in approximately seven (7) to fourteen (14) days, and may be obtained at a cost of $50,00, which includes project bid package. The solicitation will be available at the USPFO Contracting Office, 2601 South Carson Street, Carson City, NV, 89701. Make checks or money orders payable to US TREASURER. Interested parties are hereby informed that attendance at the Proposal Conference is MANDATORY in order to submit a proposal for the TOC and its initial project. The Proposal Conference will be held at 8:30am, Thursday, March 1, 2001 in the classroom of the Nevada Army National Guard Headquarters located at 2525 South Carson Street, Carson City, Nevada. This TOC will include both Horizontal and Vertical construction projects under FSC's: Y111, Y129, Y291, and Z129. Funding will be on individual Task Orders. For further information call LTC Bruce R.
