Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the Department of Defense medical school, has a requirement for lodging facilities in the vicinity of the Tripler Army Medical Center (AMC) located in Tripler AMC, HI for one base year and 4 option years. The rooms will be used to house medical students during their clerkship at the Army Medical Center. The rooms are needed for the period of January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001. Lodging facilities must be within walking distance of the Tripler AMC. Contractor must be able to provide nine rooms per month. As a minimum, each suite must have a bedroom with two double beds, nightstand, and a dresser or crest; a sitting room with couch, chair, table with at least two chairs, television/VCR, a microwave and refrigerator, and a bath. Students will be on rotational assignments. In addition to the above, laundry facilities, telephones, insect prevention and control, daily maid service, at least a weekly change of bed linens, free parking and 24-hour security.
