Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental entomologist, transportation and management necessary to perform work in accordance with general craft and industry standards, applicable laws, regulations, codes and Federal specifications. The Pest Control/Entomology Services shall be performed at the Defense Supply Center Richmond and Defense Distribution Depot Richmond, Richmond, VA. This procurement will be for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. The government intends to award a performance -based service contract by the mans of a combination firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contract for a base plus four option year periods to be exercised at the government's discretion without further notice under FAR clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The solicitation will be considered a 100% small-business set-aside. Proposals from other than small business will be deemed unacceptable and given no further consideration. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 56172 (7342). The related small business size standard is $5.0 million. The solicitation is scheduled to be released the last part of February 2001. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
