Description

The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order to Nehring Associates Inc., for the 15th update of Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database. The contractor will provide the database to four separate DOE locations within 7 days after an award has been executed. The proposed Purchase Order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit price proposals. All proposal received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note(s) 10-11 *****
