Description
The purpose of this Modification to Synopsis No. 5081Y2, published December 6, 2000, is to revise several key parts of the prior description set forth in Synopsis No. 5081Y2. The OH-58D input configurations and output configuration remain as set forth in the prior description, as well as, the period of performance. A Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, type contract is anticipated for this effort. The Minimum Quantity remains at the original 10 each, while the Maximum Quantity is revised from: 252 each to: 143 each, which includes 13 each, Foreign Military Sales. This requirement is revised from being restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron, Fort Worth, TX to one of Full and Open Competition. This effort shall utilize Depot Maintenance Work Requirement: 55-1615-332, dated 29 Jun 1990 and Change 3, dated 20 Oct 2000, in addition to pertinent USAAMCOM Engineering Directives. It is anticipated the destination for output Transmissions shall be Red River Defense Distribution Depot, Texarkana, TX 75507. This item is considered a Flight Safety Part and as such will require execution of a Product Verification Audit (PVA). The PVA shall be performed on one of the first five Transmissions repaired/upgraded. The delivery schedule is anticipated to reflect input of unserviceables to the contractor 90 days after award. PVA performance to occur 120 days from contractor receipt of the unserviceables. Initial serviceable output of Transmissions is anticipted to be 30 days after performance of the PVA.
