Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote RFQ-228-18493-0000-721 for 1. One (1) Lot of materials and labor necessary to furnish and build a prefabricated salt storage dome structure. The size shall be 42' diameter, with an 8' tall by 12" thick reinforced concrete base wall, silane sealer, 25 year shingles, 15' by 15' door opening, solid coat stain and blueprints. A complete set of specifications will be sent to those requesting a copy of the Request for Quotation. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 233320 and $27,500,000.00, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ-228-18493-0000-721 is on or about March 1, 2001 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about March 14, 2001. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. [OMBUDSMAN STATEMENT IS REQUIRED] Prospective offerors must request a copy of the Request for Quotation which is anticipated to be released on March 1, 2001.
