- Description
- 1. The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for Drilling Services. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, supplies, and materials to determine the type, nature, characteristics, and present extent and condition of subsurface materials at various locations in the Huntington District, to include portions of the following states: West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery type contract, Not To Exceed $1,500,000 over the 3-year contract period. The contract will be awarded for a base year with two Option years. The award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. The contractor will be required to provide one drilling rig to the work site within 24 hours of notification; two rigs within 72 hours of notification; and six rigs within a week of notification. RATING CRITERIA (in descending order of importance): 1. Applicable Past Performance for the Huntington District or, if not available, applicable experience in similar work; 2. Technical Knowledge and Experience of Personnel; 3. Ability to Offeror to Provide Required Physical Plant and Supplies; 4. Supervision and Administration; 5. Safety; 6. Quality Control; 7. Location of the Firm in the General Geographic Area. Award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 01 March 2001. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted Basis. Proposals will be entertained from all responsible firms.
