Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR Headquarters) intends to develop, field, and evaluate an innovative prototype for a deep water remote powered all optical fixed surveillance system compatible with current fixed surveillance system processing software. The Navy currently plans to utilize Full and Open Competition for the procurement. However, a firm's ability to utilize an Other Transaction Authority may influence that decision. The Navy will host an Industry Day to discuss this requirement in San Diego, CA on February 26, 2001. One-on-one meetings will be available immediately following the Industry Day. Scheduled appointments are necessary. Interested parties should contact Moira Eiserloh at 619-524-7184 by February 22, 2001 to schedule an appointment. To assist the Navy, white papers are requested telling us about your business and optical qualifications. For more information on the white paper requirements refer to the website listed below.
