Description
Provide all labor and material for one (1) Brand Name or Equal Flowtronex FPX-VFCX-900-2-90(5011P) horizonal Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) electric motor/pump control package, with Smoothflow (or Equal) control software; install and test; install at South Pumphouse at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN; install and operational no later than May 31, 2001; include Operator Training, Operation and Service Data Manuals; warranty period maintenance response time within 24 hours of notification. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 test program; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation document available on or about February 15, 2000. Request in writing or by fax to 612-725-2072. All responsible sources that can meet these requirements and provide services may respond by requesting solicitation document and submitting technical capability and cost proposals by Close of Business on March 8, 2001. Technical proposal must include location (for maintenance response purposes) and past performance history; additional evaluation factors are equipment proposed, experience with projects of similar scope; knowledge of product and services, key installation personnel, etc. NAICS code is 339999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A single award will be made in the aggregate, firm fixed price, FOB destination with payment in arrears of acceptance of a fully operational system. The government will base its award on best value to the government, price, price-related factors and technical factors considered.
