Description

The Upper Columbia Area Office, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Yakima, WA. intends to award a sole source purchase order to the University of Colorado at Boulder, CADSWES, Campus Box 572, Boulder, CO 80309-0421 (to include 1st & 2nd yr. option) for (1) Enhancement to rule based simulation. (2) Provide User Support and Documentation for RiverWare. (3) Provide Software Maintenance and New RiverWare Releases. The University of Colorado at Boulder, has been involved in the development of the aforementioned software products for the last 5 years. Based on information available at this time, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Reclamation considers the services specified above as sole source from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Co., and it proposes to negotiate a contract with that firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Any sources who believe that they can provide the required services as specified herein are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this annoucement within 15 calender days of publication of this synopsis. An affirmative response would include literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required services stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their business size status, i.e., small, large, minority owned, women owned, etc. North American Identifier Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541511 and the small business size standard is not in excess of 500 employees.
