Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase a Projection and Sound System with Control System/Equipment Closets which meets the specifications listed below. A site visit to 2900 Woodcock Blvd. Atlanta, GA is required for any vendor to bid on this requirement. The contact for this is Mary Vaughan -- phone number 770/488-5058. This should take place on Wednesday February 14, 2001. Completion time for this project must be 3 weeks from date of award. Description of the requirements: One large conference room on the first floor must be subdivided into (3) three rooms. Each individual room will have: -- a ceiling mounted projector which can display computer data or video from a wallplate connection in the front of the room or the vcr in the equipment room -- a rack-mounted vcr and amplifier in the equipment closet in the back of the room -- individual sound control for 6 speakers in room When used as a whole, the room will have: -- the same image displayed on all three screens -- a multi-media lectern for housing and securing a computer and other electronic equipment which may include a document camera. -- a microphone system -- a switcher in the equipment closet which will allow video or audio to be switched to different outputs including audio/video to other conference rooms -- a Crestron control system with touch panel for user-friendly control of any of the equipment in the room. This touch panel can be installed in- Crestron Control System #ST-PAKX-C with RF Color touch panel. Unit will control projectors, VCR, sound system. Installation includes necessary interface cables, sensors, programming Total Control System the multi-media lectern if desired. The equipment to be operated by the control system will be: screens, projectors, vcrs and speakers (volume). Projection Systems: Sound System, Equipment Closets, Cart/Monitor/VCR Portable Cart, Control System, Installation, Engineering, design services, KSI Multi-media lectern Miscellaneous audio-visual equipment Total conference room equipment and installation Optional computer connections for 3 floorplates in Center of room as requested, computer only Total with Options This is a all or none requirement. Delivery must be made within 30 days of purchase. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE.
