Description

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required for the fabrication and installation of the Oldfield Ranges in the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland in accordance with the plans and specifications. Work includes the following: 1.1 Fabrication and installation of a new Oldfield Point Front Range structure; 1.2 Demolition and removal of the existing Oldfield Point Front Range structure which is approximately 1,080 feet northeast of the proposed new structure. 1.3 Demolition and removal of the existing Oldfield Point Rear Range structure located on shore. 1.4 Design, fabrication, and installation of a galvanized steel self-supporting tower onshore for the new rear range structure. 1.5 The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment (except the Government furnished Equipment (GFE) as listed herein) and labor required for the work including removal and transfer if necessary. 1.6 Government Furnished Equipment (GFE): 1.6.1 The Contractor shall pickup the GFE listed from Coast Guard Aids-to-Navigation Team SLEDGE, Baltimore, Maryland and provide transportation to his staging area and ultimately to the location of the structures. The Contractor shall be responsible for all GFE received until completion of the project. The GFE is listed in the specification and will not be furnished here. 1.6.2 The Contractor shall make arrangements for obtaining the GFE by contacting: Officer-in-Charge, Aids to Navigation Team (ANT) Sledge, U.S. Coast Guard Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. 21226-1797; Telephone (410) 576-2645. The period of performance is 304 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated range is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 234990 (formerly 1629).
