- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida is requesting proposals to provide non-personal services in engineering and technical support at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU). Support will include testing and analysis of the functional aspects of diving systems, life support systems, Navy certification requirements and system fleet integration. This program support is primarily but not limited to Deep Submergence System Equipment (DSSE); Advanced Seal Delivery System (ASDS); Seal Delivery Vehicle (SDV); Dry Deck Shelter (DDS); Advanced Diving System (ADS); Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV), Submarine Rescue Diving System (SRDS), New Attack Submarine (NSSN), Closed and Semi-closed Underwater Breathing Apparatus and applied physiological/research support. Contractor support will include chamber operation, test instrumentation design, installation, systems interface, calibration and operation, computer systems analysis, software development, data acquisition, reduction, and analysis; engineering and technical support in the development and operation of associated systems in support of these efforts. These support areas and any additional Program Support requirements, as directed by NEDU or NAVSEA, are to verify the operational functional characteristics of the diving systems in a 28 F through 105 F water environment at depths of 0 fsw through 1000 fsw. The government intends to award a time and materials contract. Period of performance will be for 12 months from award with four (4) option years. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside.
