Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain chainsaw services for thinning. This will be an indefinite quantity contract; period of contract will be five years. An estimated total is 500 acres of thinning. Government will evaluate contractor's past performance, technicial capabilities, and pricing. Award will be based on the best value for the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, maintenance, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and supplies, (except thos designated as Government-furnished) and incidentals to perform the work specified. Estimated issue date is March 2, 2001 and estimated open date is April 12, 2001. Approximate start work date is April 15, 2001. This project is located on the Chiloquin Ranger District of the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, OR. This is a small-business set-aside.
