Description

Solicitation Number N00421-01-Q-0178 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Sensis Corporation, 5793 Widewaters Parkway, Dewitt, New Jersey 13214 for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Sensis is the original equipment manufacturer of the RBDX and is the only company who can provide upgrades to the systems compatible with the current system configuration. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 334511, size standard is 750 employees. The contract line item number and description is: CLIN 0001 -- Part number Password-N11, CMC Password Protection Upgrade including Solaris 7 Operating System, (Qty 11 EA); CLIN 0002 -- Part Number Cluttermap-N11, Initial Set Cluttermap FPLA, Qty 1 SE); CLIN 0003 -- Part Number Cluttermap-N11C, Copies Cluttermap FPLA (Qty 10 SE); and CLIN 0004 -- Part Number Cluttermap-N11SP, Spares Cluttermap FPLA, (Qty 4 SE). However, all proposals received by 26 February 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
