Description

Supply the attached plumbing items: This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-01-Q-A025) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and the Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421720, size standard 100. The item description is as follows: Non-personnel Service to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items necessary to provide the following supplies: See attached bid sheet for quantities and unit of issue. 1) Pipe C-900 8 inch; 2) Pipe C-900 6 inch; 3) Pipe C-900 4 inch; 4) Pipe scheduled 80 2 inch; 5) Gate value 2_ brass threaded; 6) CI MJ Gate Valve 4_; 7) CI MJ Gate Valve 8_; 8) CI MJ Gate 10_; 9) Valve Boxes; 10) CI MJ Straight Tee 4_; 11) CI MJ Straight tee 8_; 12) CI MJ Reducing Tee 10_ x 10_ x 4_; 13) 8 inch saddle with 2 inch Tap, 14) Metal Waterline Marking Tape; 15) Anti Corrosion Coating. Price quotes shall be submitted by 4:00 p.m. (Pacific), 16 Feb 01 to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention Mrs. Idella Mullins. Price quotes may be sent by facsimile at (702) 652-9570. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. In accordance with FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference and FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated in Reference, the following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction of Offerors-Commercial Items, with the following technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirement of the solicitation (i.e. product literature), the terms of any expressed warranty, price and any discounts, and delivery times; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE WITH THEIR PROPOSALS A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (see attachments). The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. The following clauses also apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. DFAR 252.232-7009 Required Central Contract Registration.
