Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and the solicitation number is RFQ 06-01-29. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 3799/Size 500 employees is applicable to this purchase when determining business size. The Sierra Cascade Province intends to acquire eight (8) Honda 4x4 All Terrain Vehicles with trade ins. (One for one) The trade ins are four (4) Honda/95 4x4 TRX30FW and four (4) Honda/96 4x4 TRX300FW. Item 1 -- Three (3) Honda FourTrax Rancher 4x4 2001 TRX350FM (Standard Transmission) with metal boot guards and Honda trade ins. Item 2- Five (5) Honda FourTrax Rancher 4x4 ES 2001 TRX350FE (Electric Shifting Transmission) with metal boot guards and Honda trade ins. All color in RED. There are two separate delivery locations. Six (6) Hondas (One Honda TRX350FM and Five Honda TRX350FE) will be delivered to the Modoc National Forest Equipment Shop, 706 West 12th Street, Alturas, CA 96101-3132. Two (2) Honda TRX350FM will be delivered to the Lassen National Forest Equipment Shop, 5th and Oak Streets, Susanville CA 96130. Quotations must contain proposed delivery time; FOB point (destination/origin); if FOB point is origin, shipping cost must be included. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction of Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offerors are require to complete and include a copy of followng provisions FAR 52.212-3, OFFER REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEM with their QUOTES. The FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Offeror is require to provide their Contractor's TIN number. Number Note 1. Mailed or faxed quotes must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. PST, on February 20, 2001.
