Description

WA RRP JUBU 2000(1), JULIA BUTLER HANSEN NWR, Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge, Wahkiakum County, Washington. Initial notice posted to CBDNet on January 22, 2001 and printed issue date January 25, 2001 (CBDNet). BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION IS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Project consists of grading, base, and paving to two parking lots with approach drives, and remodeling of existing kiosk into a vault toilet facility. Project includes construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; removal of kiosk structure; traffic control devices; traffic pavement markings; 118 m silt fence; 450 sq m clearing & grubbing; 1,891 ton excavation & embankment; 1,612 sq m earthwork geotextiles; 7 cu m riprap; 1,282 ton minor crushed aggregate; 375 ton minor hot asphalt concrete; 55 m curb; 315 sq m sidewalk; 88 m fence; 920 sq m topsoil; 3,380 sq m seeding & mulching; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 4 km NW of Cathlamet, Washington. Work shall be completed by August 1, 2001. Estimated price range is between $100,000 to $250,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT=s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000.
