Description

This solicitation R01-2, is a TOTAL SET ASIDE FOR 51% INDIAN-OWNED ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES. BID OPENING, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11, 2001, at 2:00 pm PST. This road construction project consists of Grade, Drain and Paving of 2.20 Kilometers of a Walkway on the Quileute Indian Reservation, LaPush, Washington, Clallam County, Washington. Project is located 20 kilometers NW of Forks, Washington. Estimated range for this project is 500,000 -- 1,000,000.00. Evaluation Factor for award is a price and responsiveness to the solicitation. The contract shall be awarded as a fixed price contract. Duration of the project is 120 calendar days after written notice to proceed. Bidder shall refer to Section 7b of P.L. 93-638 (25 USC 450e) and Clause DIAR 1452.226-70, Indian Preference and Clause DIAR 1452.226-71, requires that preference opportunities be provided in employment, training and awarding of subcontract be given to Indian organizations and Indian-Owned firms. All prospective bidders are required to submit with their bid the Indian Preference in Employment/Subcontracting Plan outlining the steps taken to implement the preference requirements. All bidders responding to this solicitation must meet the criteria for 51% Indian Owned Economic Enterprises to be considered eligible for award of a contract. Any request for the solicitation package received within 10 working days prior to the closing date will be processed but is no guarantee that the recipient will receive the solicitation package prior to the closing date.
