Description

R -- The Department of Justice intends to issue an award on a sole source basis to David Walker to provide consultant services to the Department's Fiscal and Travel Section, Washington, DC. The Section is creating a Relocation Unit which will service the Department's components and Bureaus. The contractor shall provide comprehensive advice to management and travelers concerning relocation travel entitlements, policies and practices, which include but are not limited to, the development of the physical layout and setup of the Section; workflow process for the Section; procedures required to be followed by the staff to accomplish the Section's mission, including written procedure guidelines, a counseling guide and employee relocation information packages for transferring employees; all applicable forms, automated for use by the Section; computer links with GSA household goods carrier program; training materials for all counsel positions, training classes, including Fed. Travel Reg. Ch. 302, in-house training on the Department's relocation policies and simulated counseling sessions. Period of performance is 3/1/01 thru 2/28/02. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
