Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to issue a solicitation for technical data library and administrative support services at Naval Aviation Depot, North Island, San Diego, CA. The services, which are currently provided by Government personnel, were announced for commercial activity cost comparison study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. It is anticipated that the contract type will be a firm-fixed price with award fee provisions. The contract will consist of a one month phase in, a base year, and four one year options. This RFP is based on full and open competition. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the FISC-SD web site http://www.sd.fisc.navy.mil and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online http://www.neco.navy.mil Site visit and pre-proposal conference information will be posted on the FISC web site only. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the FISC web site for updates and new listings. This procurement is being conducted under Commercial Activity OMB A-76 cost comparison guidelines. If government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. Offerors that wish to be placed on a potential bidders list should submit their company name and points of contact to the contract specialist email address noted herein. A list of potential bidders will be posted, and periodically updated, on the FISC Web Site. Only electronic copies of the solicitation will be provided.
