Description
This requirement, in support of the Office of Management Services' Division of Information Resources Management, Maritime Administration (MARAD), is for the operation and maintenance of MARAD's information technology system and environment and as needed system development and integration services. Operation and maintenance services encompass network operations, telecommunications services, help desk services, microcomputer support and operational security. System development and integration services include applications development and implementation, database design and management and web site development. Work will be performed on-site at MARAD Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and at regional offices in Norfolk, VA, New Orleans, LA, and San Francisco, CA. This acquisition has been accepted by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a "National" buy under the 8(a) program. The designated NAICS Code is 541513/7376. All offerors must be eligible by SBA standards to receive an award under the 8(a) program. The period of performance will be one year with four consecutive one-year option periods available. Request for Proposal (RFP) DTMA1R01003 will be available electronically on or about February 28, 2001 at www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be on or about April 3, 2001. THE SOLICITATION AND ALL RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY, ONLY; THEREFORE, WRITTEN OR ORAL REQUESTS FOR THE RFP WILL NOT BE HONORED.
