Description

The Government will host an informational briefing on February 28, 2001. This briefing is intended to be informational only in order to provide industry visibility into the efforts related to reengineering the AFWA Center. A contract will not be awarded from this announcement and there will be no reimbursement for costs associated with attendance or preparation for the meeting. A future Industry Day is expected in the spring/early summer once more definition to the AFWA Center reengineering effort is available. Material generated from this informational briefing, presentation and questions/answers, will be made available by accessing the Weather Data Analysis (WDA) program web page maintained at http://herbb.hanscom.af.mil/in the "Business Opportunities" section. This site will be populated with program status and updated information as it becomes available for release. Once available, the draft briefing will be posted on this web site for industry review. Any questions resulting from this material must be submitted in advance to the Program Manager, Maj Michael Adams, via email (michael.adams@hanscom.af.mil) by February 22, 2001. Answers will be provided during the briefing. The informational briefing will be presented at Offutt AFB NE at the Base Theater on 25th Street. A map and directions are available at http://afw.offutt.af.mil/events/afwa_reengineering.htm. A Government representative will assist with check-in, starting at 07:30 AM on February 28, 2001. The briefing will begin at 08:00 AM CST, February 28, 2001, with a session for questions and answers.
