Description

Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, supplies and materials necessary for publication of the monthly civilian enterprise newspaper, "California Guard" for the California National Guard. This is a single award, no-cost contract for the period of 1 March 2001, or date of award, through 31 December 2001 with four (4) option years. Publish circulation of 30,000 for first quarter of contract, 40,000 second quarter of contract and 50,000 for the final half of the contract year and remaining option years. The editorial staff of the California National Guard Public Affairs Directorate will proofread all editorial and advertising material of the newspaper, checking security and accuracy of content. The contractor shall be responsible for paste-up of each page and printing of the newspaper subject to the guidance, direction and supervision of the Commander of the California National Guard or his/her designated representative. THE NEWSPAPER WILL BE PRINTED AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. The revenue which the contractor will receive from the sale of advertising in the newspaper shall constitute contractor's full payment.
