- Description
- 1. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562112. The size standard is $10M. The estimated cost range for base and options is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain medical, infectious, and pathological waste collection and disposal services for the National Naval Medical Command, Bethesda, Maryland by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract that will include a base year and four one year option periods. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of medical, infectious, and pathological waste as specified in the specification. 2. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. The solicitation will be available free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All prospective offerors and plan room holders must register as plan holders on the website in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. The official plan holders list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will be provided by the Government. Registering bidders and plan rooms must provide a complete name, address, phone number, including area code, bidder type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, plan room, etc), e-mil address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, women owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to continually view the website for any amendments made to the solicitation.
