Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain services for thinning. This will be an indefinite quantity contract; period of contract will be five years. An estimated total for the base year is 500 acres of thinning. Government will evaluate contractor's past performance, technicial capabilities, and pricing. Award will be based on the best value for the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, maintenance, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and supplies, (except those designated as Government-furnished) and incidentals to perform the work specified. Estimated issue date is February 22, 2001 and estimated open date is April 5, 2001. Approximate start work date is May 1, 2001. This project is located on the Silver Lake Ranger District of the Fremont National Forest, Lake County, OR. This is a small business set-aside. (The amendment is to change this to a 5 year contract rather than a contract with option years.)
