Description

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The Office of Environmental Protection for the Republic of Marshall Island, P.O. Box 1322, Majuro, Marshall Island 96960. The proposed acquisition is directed to the Office of Environmental Protection for the Republic of Marshall Island pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(a), only one responsible source. The objective of this effort is to obtain the official Republic of Marshall Island government position on the implementation and requirements under the U.S. Army Kwajalein Atoll Environmental Standards. The government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance for this effort will be twelve (12) months for the basic effort with two (2) twelve (12) month options. It is anticipated that a letter request for quotation will be utilized to procure this acquisition. The anticipated date of award is 30 March 01. This acquisition is not open to foreign participation.
